Rice Workshop in Humanistic Ethics

Sponsored by the Department of Philosophy, the School of Humanities, and the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University.

The Rice Workshop in Humanistic Ethics is a recurring interdisciplinary conference that brings together scholars working on questions that arise within the practical, deliberative, and ethical difficulties of human life.

 

Papers and discussion will focus on topics such as virtue, character, moral development, the overcoming of adversity, and moral and ethical dilemmas.

The workshop is free and open to the public upon registration. Rice undergraduates are especially welcome.
